Anyone who has volunteered to help out at past events will tell you that this is a really fun way to share your knowledge of our hobby. You don’t need to be an expert. Guests are equally interested in hearing what the experience is like from a beginners perspective.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Thursday 8:30 – Astrophotography Night<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Member Gary Colwell hosts this event which is a series of seminars that starts with the basics and progresses through the more advanced techniques. Thursday will be a practical demonstration of the everything you learned through the entire series. Even if you did not attend the earlier seminars you will still find it a fascinating experience. If you get there early enough you will see what it takes to unload your gear, set-up, Polar Align, Focus, and capture a series of images.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Both of these events will be “weather permitting”.
