Inventor, Rock Mallin (he was an exhibitor at AstroCats) has mastered the art of adapting ultra sensitive video CCD chips for use as an “electronic eyepiece”. In as few as 30 seconds, a glorious full colour image is displayed on a portable monitor. The detail is incredible, and it displays the colours that your night vision is unable to see when using a conventional eyepiece. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Murray will show us the equipment used and present some samples images that show what you can expect to see under the stars. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><b>Special Presentation – Tell us your idea of “FUN”<o:p></o:p></b></p><p class=MsoNormal>We’ve decided that we need to add some more club activities.
