Ie: 80mm*f8 = 480mm). Plug those focal lengths into TheSky and then pick those objects that are on your imaging \u201cwish list\u201d. The wet weather gave me the chance to explore the software and see what it can do. I enjoyed using the field of view calculator which can be placed on objects to determine if my scope/camera combination will allow my set up to take pictures of the entire object. I can see my next purchase down the road will be a refractor, perhaps either 80 or 102 mm. Next task is to go out to the observatory and connect my mount and confirm the telescope control.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">I read the article about planetary imaging by Jerry Lodriguss in the May issue of Sky & Telescope and it peaked my interest. Has anyone tried this using his method?
