</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-CA link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>The first session of the New Observers to Visual Astronomy (NOVA) course, scheduled for tomorrow evening (February 2nd), will be postponed for two weeks.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The weather forecast for the next 36 hours indicates that Monday evening will be clear, but there is a very good chance that the observatory parking lot will not be plowed out. Further, while driving conditions on major roads should be fine by 7:00 - 7:30pm, but there are some country roads that have to be navigated, as well as the side roads that may still make for a tricky drive.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The forecast that I'm looking at indicates that up to 30cm of snow may be dumped on Hamilton, Oakville and Burlington, with Milton and Flamborough expecting about half of that.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Astronomy is a hobby.
