Title: In Person Public Meetings are Restarting
Post by: Bob.Prociuk on September 14, 2022, 08:53:42 PM
The Board of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada – Hamilton/Burlington Branch (RASC) is please to announce the restart of in-person public meetings. Please mark your calendar.

We invite all new and existing members to this initial meeting after a two year pause created by the restrictions associated with COVID-19. Of course the meeting is open to the public so feel free to bring a friend.

The meeting will be held at the Waterdown Branch of the Legion, located at

79 Hamilton St. N. in Waterdown.

Meeting Date: Wednesday Sept 21 @ 8:00 PM

Going forward and starting in October, we will revert to a recurring meeting schedule of every second Wednesday of the month. This months' meeting will be a review of events of the past two years, a review of what our club has to offer (for new members) and a discussion of some of the exciting upcoming events in astronomy.  We also want to start the process of elections for a new Executive and Board of Directors. We'll review the nomination process and if all goes to plan, we will vote in a new Board in October.

Looking forward to seeing many familiar faces.

Clear Skies!!
