Title: Observatory News
Post by: Gary.Bennett on November 07, 2016, 04:12:24 PM
Our big 16" telescope is back in action! Thanks to help from Andy Blanchard and Jason Blane, we finished fine-tuning Polar Alignment on Saturday. This beautiful mount will now accurately centre any object you ask it to find!

Quite a few things had to happen in the last month (we think it was an electrical storm). A month ago we had:
-   2 Broken Mounts
-   2 Broken Computers
-   1 Broken 12V Power Supply
-   1 Broken GPS Receiver (sets computer time)

We still have 1 sick mount, but everything else is 100%.

Time to get off the sofa and come out to use this wonderful piece of equipment!
