Astronomy on Tap.
Mark Smith and Ed Mizzi attended one of these events on March 10 of this year and it was well worth the trip to Toronto. These events are hosted by the Dunlap Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics, University of Toronto and the Graduate Astronomy Students Association (GASA). They are held in the Great Hall, just a 10 minute walk north of the Exhibition GO station. Mark and Ed highly recommend attending the next one, this Friday, Nov. 10. Several guest speakers with super slide shows, a trivia contest and you can sip on a refreshing drink while listening. Please see the link below for more information.
