This Thursday is our June Monthly Meeting. This is our LAST MEETING until
September.

 

Guest Speaker:  Tom Field - Real Time Spectroscopy

 

How do scientists know the chemical composition of a star, planet, or nebula
that is thousands/millions of light years away? Does a newly discovered
planet have oxygen or water? Spectroscopy provides the answer. And you can
do it too! Yes, even equipment used by amateur astronomers can do
Spectroscopy. Learn how on Thursday night.

 

We will also be having a few special guests. AstroCATS Door/Raffle Prize
winners will be picking up their dreamy prizes.
