He continues collaborations with NASA scientists on a variety of projects and is a member of NASA's Education Products Review team. Paul is chair of the Solar Division of the American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO), a group that has been responsible for computing the American Relative Sunspot number for over 60 years.Paul is a sought-after guest speaker at scientific and educational conferences, including the National Science Teachers Association Convention, astronomy clubs, star parties and the Advanced Imaging Conference. And he has agreed to come to our meeting tomorrow night to show it to us!!! He will tell the story of how his nephew found the meteorite while plowing a field! This is perhaps a chunk of the bright meteorite that fell over Hamilton/Grimsby in 2009 So Come one come all....bring a friend a neighbour!....this night will be AWESOME!
