RASC Hamilton Monthly Meeting - Thursday January 3, 8:00

Now that we have all survived the Mayan End of the World prediction, we have
a fun evening to look forward to this Thursday @ The Royal Canadian Legion
in Waterdown.

 

Lots of stuff on the agenda:

-          Gary C will present "What's Up" this month

-          Roger will present the NOVA Program (New Observers to Visual
Astronomy) which is a 9-part series of seminars tailored to astronomy
beginners. 

-          Our Guest Speaker is Eric Briggs. Eric will present several
topics that include amateur participation in professional science, such as
supernovae and variable stars (Eric is co-discoverer of a Super Nova).
