RASC Hamilton Results from Astrophotography Night - Thursday May 17

For those of you who attended Astrophotography Night on Thursday, I have
uploaded an image to our on-line Bulletin Board (forum) of the Leo Trio that
we were using as our imaging target. The forum post also lists some specs
about the image (exposure times, etc).

If you have not yet joined our online forum, this would be a good time to do
so. It only takes a few minutes and if we get enough people to become active
users it will be a lot of fun for everyone. 

 

A lot of time and effort went into creating our new Bulletin Board so I hope
you agree this is a good time to get on board. The benefits of conducting
"conversations" with club members using the Bulletin Board are:

-          You can add photos to your posts.

-          Your email in-box will have much fewer emails compared to simply
sending email replies to our email system.

-          You have control over which topics you want to participate in.

-          You can post your own topics

-          Generally, it is just a lot of fun.

PS. To keep the "spammers" from getting into our bulletin board, your
membership needs to be approved by a "moderator". So please be patient (it
is NOT instant approval). Hints to speed up the approval process:

-          Who are you? Choosing a user name like "hunkoburninluv" is cute
but sounds like a user name that a spammer would use. Try using your real
name!
