RASC Hamilton Astrophotography Night - Thursday 7:30 @ The Observatory

This Thursday is Astrophotography Night. 7:30 at the Observatory.

 

If the skies are clear we'll hook up a camera and capture some images. As
for targets, well, the Moon will be lighting things up, so we probably won't
have "keepers" but it will be fun and you will get some hands-on time behind
a telescope. If you have a camera, telescope (or conventional lenses) and
mount, bring it along and we'll help get you set-up.

 

If the skies are not clear we will learn how to select targets using the
"field of view" features of Planetarium Software. We will also talk about
exposure times and other camera settings.

 

This event is open to everyone. Even if you don't own a camera or telescope
you will still have fun.
