RASC Hamilton ATV4 Automated Transport Vehicle 4 "Albert Einstein" Sightings

Hi All,

The following list shows the times when the European Space Agency's Automated Transport Vehicle 4 (ATV4) named "Albert Einstein" is visible in the sky for Hamilton, Ontario. This is an unmanned supply ship for the International Space Station. It is being launched today, June 5th, on an Ariane 5 Rocket from ESA Guiana Space Centre in French Guiana in South America.  It will deliver several tons of supplies to the International Space Station. It will dock with the Zvezda Service Module, part of the Russian segment of the ISS on June 15th. If possible, it will be a quite a sight to see both the ISS and the ATV4 flying in formation in the sky over the Earth, especially as the ATV4 approaches the ISS in the days just before its docking with the ISS on June 15th. The ISS will be the brighter of the two objects. Very similar to seeing both the ISS and Space Shuttle flying in formation. Use this chart and the recently sent ISS Sightings Chart (June 3 - June 18) to co-ordinate sightings of both objects in the sky for your enjoyment. Enjoy!
