    My Canon 7D has 4.3u square pixels.  The new 6D has larger pixels 
that weigh in at 6.55u.  That gives it the ability to have a much 
higher effective ISO range.  It is apparently quite low noise even 
when working at ISO102400.  I have also heard that it takes one dark 
frame for multiple light frames.  Since the best way to do dark 
subtraction is to have the camera do it, this is a boon to astro 
imagers as wasting scope time doing darks is a reason why a lot of 
imagers do their own dark subtraction.
    What camera has 17u pixels?
