Hello All!

I wanted to remind you of our meeting this Thursday April 3, 2014 at the Legion in Waterdown. Our guest speaker is Mr. Ted Rudyk. Ted is studying for his Masters in Astronomy at Western University. Ted has been developing a system to photograph occultations of asteroids. With the recent Occultation of Regulus by an asteroid, Ted has developed a photographic system to record such events...but not only those in our solar system, but beyond. Unfortunately clouds prevented him from photographing this once in a life time event...but that does not deter him. Come out and hear all about his research...and more

Also, we are still in need of volunteers for AstroCATS coming up on May 3, 4, 2014 ---that's only 4 weeks away... This is our event and its contiunuing success largely depends on the volunteers who give of their time.... Whether you are young or old...new to our club or a veteran...we need your help!
