RASC Hamilton AstroCATS Volunteers Needed!

Hi Shawn,
I am doing a seminar on Saturday between 11:45-12:45 on choosing your first scope, but can volunteer time after that. what times/ duties do you still need volunteers on the Saturday? Unfortunately I work Sundays and can't volunteer that day.

Subject: RASC Hamilton AstroCATS Volunteers Needed!

We are now one month way from the 2nd Annual AstroCATS show, and planning is in full swing!  While a tremendous amount of work has been done to date, a lot still remains and we need your help.  Volunteers play a critical part in the operation of the show, and although a number of people have already signed up to donate their time, we still need more.  We really need your support and we hope you will all be eager to contribute 4 hours of your time to for a worthwhile cause. Volunteers will receive free admission to the show and get to keep their volunteer “keepsake” T-Shirt.  Last year those who came out and helped out had a great time, and contributed directly to the success of the show. This year, AstroCATS is being held at Mohawk College in Hamilton on  Saturday May 3 and Sunday May 4. Shifts are 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.  There’s a job for everyone, regardless of your astronomy knowledge!  For people working the Sunday afternoon shift, the show closes at 4:00, but we will ask you to stay a bit later and help tidy-up the exhibit hall. No heavy lifting, just general garbage pick-up so we don’t get billed for leaving a mess. If you would like to volunteer or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
