RASC Hamilton - Members Only October General Meeting

Hello Fellow Astronomers:

 

RASC Hamilton is pleased to announce that our next general meeting will be
this Wednesday (Oct 12th) at 8:00 PM. We meet at the Legion Hall in
Waterdown located at 79 Hamilton St. N. (just north of the Home Hardware
plaza). The meeting is open to members and the general public and there is
no charge for admission. Feel free to invite guests.

 

This month we are very pleased to have Hao He as guest speaker. Hao is a PhD
graduate student in his final year of study at McMaster University. He will
be presenting his finings on the nature of interstellar cold gas through the
use of radio astronomy. 

 

Following this presentation we will review the club's financial position and
then conclude by presenting and accepting the nominees for next year's Board
of Directors. 

 

Please join us for what will be an interesting evening of discussion and to
witness the renewal of club activities after a long period of dormancy.
