RASC Hamilton - Members Only 🌌 Volunteer Call-Out for Astronomy Outreach

Hello RASC Hamilton Centre Members,


We’ve been invited by the Rotary Club of Hamilton AM to bring telescopes to their fundraiser on Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Tamahaac Club in Ancaster. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the night sky with the community in a beautiful setting while supporting a great cause.



📍 Location: Tamahaac Club, Ancaster

🕓 Setup Time: From 4:30 pm onward

🌞 Observing Plan: Solar observing before sunset, then night sky viewing until about 10 pm (or slightly later).



We are looking for volunteers to bring telescopes and help engage guests in exploring the wonders of the universe and talking about our Centre. Whether you can help with solar viewing, night sky observing, or assisting guests at the eyepiece, your participation would make a big impact!
