Dear RASC Hamilton Members,

This is a reminder that our *next meeting will be held on Friday, February
6* at:

*St. Matthew’s Anglican Church – Parish Hall*
126 Plains Road East
Burlington, ON L7T 2C3

Parking is available *behind the church*.
The *Parish Hall entrance is at the rear of the church*, accessible from
the back parking lot, and is *wheelchair accessible*.

We are pleased to feature *Chris Szaban* as our guest speaker.
Chris has spent the last five years experimenting with *astrophotography
using alt-azimuth mounts on wedges*. His goal has been to demystify
wedge-based astronomy and help people understand the core principles,
including *wedge setup, polar alignment, and guiding*. Whether imaging
challenging targets from his *Bortle 8 backyard* or traveling with his
equipment for adventure astrophotography, Chris brings valuable real-world
insight into the *pros and cons of these setups*.
